AI Capabilities
I use AI as a collaborative partner across the full design and research process. Not as a shortcut, but as a way to move faster, think deeper, and stay closer to user needs. These are the capabilities I've built through real project work.

Research & Discovery
I use AI throughout the discovery phase to sharpen research strategy and extract signal from raw data. That includes developing interview scripts, structuring questionnaire formats, and analyzing Fathom transcripts for med-tech platforms, surgery centers, and medical spas. I've used Claude to build affinity maps from live interview data, clustering themes like system integration, manual process waste, financial impact, and compliance, and to synthesize cross-interview findings into strategic product implications.
For quick competitive landscape framing early in a project, I reach for Perplexity to gather sourced market context before going deeper.
Tools: Claude, Perplexity

Synthesis & Insight
Once research is collected, I use AI to turn volume into clarity. I've condensed full PRDs, Mural boards, and multi-session research into executive-level summaries and priority matrices. I've synthesized findings from six interview transcripts (Julia Thorne, Nina, Hayley, Laura Beth, and others) into structured reports with clear product implications, the kind of output that moves directly into a roadmap conversation.
I also use AI to develop vision statements, product briefs, and MVP vs. V2 feature prioritization frameworks grounded in what users actually said.
Tools: Claude, Google NotebookLM

Prototyping & Design
I use Lovable for rapid concept prototyping, moving from idea to working interface quickly without needing engineering support. I built BirdWatch, a functional bird identification app, as a demonstration of that workflow. From there, I extract the visual language and component patterns to formalize into design systems in Figma.
This vibe coding approach, using natural language to generate functional interfaces, has become a core part of how I communicate concepts to stakeholders and validate ideas before committing to full design.
Tools: Lovable, Figma Make, Bolt, Claude

Communication & Storytelling
I use AI to translate complex research and design work into clean, professional language. That includes writing LinkedIn posts that distill multi-session research into public-facing insights, producing stakeholder presentations, refining portfolio positioning, and writing case study narratives. I've also used Claude to reframe my own design practice, shifting the language from execution-focused UX toward product strategy and discovery.
Tools: Claude, Perplexity, Grok
